2.2.7 Computations…
Select the types of numerical results to calculate and display in the
Computations dialog box. The beam energy can also be calibrated here.
Note: In this context, the term energy, represents both Energy and Power.
Energy of Beam
Calibrate LBA-USB to the energy of the laser under analysis.
First measure the energy of the beam using an external measuring device, then
enter that value as the Energy of the Beam.
Next select the appropriate units in the Energy Units field. The entered value
must be the total energy of the frame currently displayed. For accurate results,
the beam must be completely contained inside the current Hardware Zoom/Pan
window, then and an Ultracal! operation should be performed prior to collecting
the frame used for energy calibration.
As an alternative, enter an Energy of Beam value of 0 (zero) from which the
energy related results items, such as, Total (energy), Peak (fluence), Min,
