Note: the IR illuminator power is not saved in the riescope’s memory. Each time the scope is turned o and back on, the IR setting returns to IR1
brightness level. You cannot operate the IR illuminator when in REVIEW mode. When REVIEW mode is activated, the IR illuminator turns o and the IR
icon is not seen on the display. The power level is saved in this circumstance. Upon exiting REVIEW mode, the IR illuminator returns to the last used
power level.
To focus the IR illuminator:
1. Locate the head (13) of the IR illuminator, which serves as the focus adjustment.
2. Rotate the head to change the focus from spot to ood.
To align the IR illuminator:
1. Locate the lock ring (12) located behind the focus head of the IR illuminator.
2. Turn the lock ring 5 to 10 degrees counterclockwise.
3. Next, move the IR illuminator hood vertically and horizontally to align the IR’s beam focus with the center of the
image.
4. Once centered, tighten the lock ring.
