USING THE IR ILLUMINATOR
The Sightmark Photon RT is equipped with a built-in IR illuminator for use in low light conditions or in complete
darkness. The brightness control of the IR illuminator is done by using the controller knob. The IR illuminator is
also equipped with focus beam adjustment. Finally, the IR illuminator can be aligned to center the beam focus to
the Photon RT’s eld of view.
To activate the IR illuminator:
1) Turn on the Photon RT.
2) Press the controller (3) to display the quick function system which consists of icons for brightness, IR brightness,
and magnication.
3) Rotate the controller to highlight the IR icon and press the controller to select.
4) To change power level from 1 to 10 rotate the controller.
5) To turn the IR illuminator o, rotate the controller to “o”. Next a crossed out icon, IR , will appear on the
display.
