Safety regulations

• Always unload the pistol immediately after
shooting, before putting it down, holstering it or
handing it to another authorised person.
• Never hand the pistol to any person who has
not thoroughly familiarised himself or herself
with the safety regulations and handling of the
pistol by reading the accompanying
regulations and instructions.
• Never leave the pistol unattended and protect
the pistol against unauthorised access.
• Never store the pistol loaded, but remove the
magazine and verify that there is no round in
the barrel chamber by following the unloading
procedure (see Section 5.8).
• Always keep the pistol and the ammunition in
different places and ensure that neither can fall
into the hands of unauthorised persons or
children.
Be sure to read through these instructions
carefully before any manipulation on this SIG
SAUER pistol and that you have understood
them.
2.1 Safety regulations for training system
and ammunition
• In no case it is permitted to assemble parts of
other pistols, neither parts of other SIG PRO
(SP) pistols, into the SP 2022 FOF pistol. This
would make the use of other than training
ammunition possible and lead to severe bodily
harm and death.
• It is only allowed to use Simunition
®
ammunition (Securi Blank
®
, FX
®
, CQT
TM
).
• All safety regulations of the ammunition
manufacturer Simunition
®
must be followed
strictly.
• Improper use of Simunition
®
ammunition can
cause injury, loss, damage or death. Users
should exercise the same firearm handling
precautions as with live ammunition.
• Simunition
®
ammunition should only be used
in well maintained, properly functioning
firearms. Always keep the barrel free of any
obstruction.
• FX
®
Marking Cartridges are designed for
force-on-force simulation and is non-lethal. For
safety reasons, Simunition
®
recommends a
minimum safe stand-off distance of 30 cm
when firing FX
®
Marking Cartridges.
• Users are required to wear Simunition
®
approved head, throat and groin protection
when using FX
®
Marking Cartridges.
• CQT
®
Cartridges are lethal and should not, at
any time, be used against human targets. They
are designed for shooting practice on reactive,
paper or cardboard targets.
• When shooting with CQT
®
Cartridges users
should exercise the same safety regulations as
with live ammunition and are required to wear
approved eye protection.
