Instructions 1 General Instructions Please read these instructions carefully before each and every handling of the SIG SAUER pistol. Knowledge of and the technically fault-free implementation of the information contained in these instructions are prerequisites for the correct preparation and safety during handling, care and maintenance of this SIG SAUER pistol. Do not use this pistol until you have fully understood all the safety instructions and it’s handling procedures.

They function in line with the principle of a mechanically locked, recoil-operated pistol with semi-automatic reloading. The automatic firing pin safety lock, safety notch on the hammer and the manual safety enable a quick readiness for firing.
