5.5 Loading the pistol (ready to fire)
Procedure:
1. Point the pistol in a safe direction.
2. Insert full magazine and check that it engages.
3. Draw back slide 24 to the stop and allow it to
fly forward.
The pistol is loaded and ready to fire.
Checking the load state
The presence of a round in the barrel chamber is
indicated visibly and tangibly by extractor 29,
which is provided with a red marking, on the side
of the slide on the exterior (see Fig. 2).
WARNING!
Insufficient awareness of the dangers
May lead to death or severe injuries
Never load or unload the pistol inside a
vehicle, inside a building or other confined
space (except in a designated firing range).
Before loading, always wipe off any excess
grease and oil and check that there is no
obstruction in the bore of the barrel.
Always keep the muzzle of the pistol pointed
in a safe direction.
Do not place your finger on the trigger. Place
your finger outside of the trigger guard.
Do not load the pistol by inserting the
magazine until immediately before shooting.
Never rely on safety mechanisms. They are
never a substitute for careful and correct
handling of the pistol.
Never let a loaded pistol out of your hands.
