6.2 Changing the grip module

Note:

• The grip module size is stamped on the right

side in the lower area of the grip module as

follows:

– L (large)

– M (medium size)

– S (small)

6.2.1 Disassembly

1. Remove slide 24 (see section “Stripping the

pistol” on page 16), but not the recoil spring

and the recoil spring guide.

2. Pull out take down lever 5.

3. Move frame 7 slightly forwards and remove it

upwards from the grip module 1 (see Fig. 8). In

the process, draw back the hammer 14 slightly

using your thumb such that the trigger 13 can

be inserted into the guide opening more easily.

6.2.2 Assembly

1. Insert frame 7 into the new grip module 1 and

push it back slightly until it engages. To

achieve this, the strip openings in the frame

and in the grip module must match.

2. Insert take down lever 5. This way, the frame is

firmly fixed in the grip module.

3. Assemble the pistol (see section “Assembling

the pistol” on page 18).

Uncontrolled discharge of shot

May lead to death or severe injuries

• Prior to modifying the pistol, make sure that it

is unloaded and that the magazine is

removed (see section “Unloading the pistol”

on page 10).
