2. REMOVING A JAMMED PELLET: If a pellet does not leave the barrel after
pulling the trigger and firing, it may be jammed. Follow these steps to clear
the barrel.
a. Point the air rifle in a SAFE DIRECTION
b. Hold the air rifle close to your body with the butt end on your upper thigh.
c. With the palm of your free hand tap the muzzle end of the barrel to
expose the breech.
d. Keeping a tight hold of the rifle look down the barrel through the breech
end to confirm that there is a pellet lodged in the barrel.
e. Insert end of a cleaning rod of the correct caliber (not included) into the
barrel.
f. With the muzzle pointed at the ground, CAREFULLY and SLOWLY apply
more pressure to the cleaning rod until you push the pellet out of the muzzle.
g. DO NOT reuse that pellet.
h. It may be necessary to lightly shake the rifle while keeping the muzzle
pointed at the ground to allow the pellet to fall free from the suppressor.
