AIMING AT A SAFE TARGET
Always aim your air rifl e in a SAFE DIRECTION.
Always choose your target carefully. Always be sure
of your backstop. Always be sure that the entire path
of your pellet, even beyond the target, is safe. Never
shoot at glass, hard surfaces or water. The pellet may
bounce o or ricochet and hit someone or something
you had not intended to hit.
INSPECT YOUR BACKSTOP FOR WEAR BEFORE AND AFTER EVERY
USE. DISCONTINUE USE IF THE BACKSTOP SURFACE SHOWS SIGNS
OF FAILURE. ALWAYS PLACE THE BACKSTOP IN A LOCATION THAT
WILL BE SAFE SHOULD IT FAIL. DISCONTINUE USE OF BACKSTOP IF
A RICOCHET OCCURS.
