Management
This chapter provides information on how to manage the device by using Web interface. It contains
information on the following:
6.1 System Configuration
To configure General, Click Management > System > System Configuration> General
6.1.1 General
NTP
This option allows user to enable or disable NTP feature. If enabled, user has to
configure the NTP server. The device will synchronize its local time with NTP server.
GPS
This option allows user to enable and disable the GPS feature. GPS feature
will trigger the 1PPS pulses to retrieve the GPS information like latitude,
longitude, number of satellites and local time.
The device will configure its local time if NTP is not enabled.
The GPS information is also used for calculating the distance between AP
and SU.
Dying Gasp
This option allows user to enable or disable the Dying gasp feature. Dying Gasp
feature will trigger a TRAP in the event of power failure to inform the remote device
that it is shutting down due to power failure. The device can hold its power
maximum for 20ms to allow the TRAP to be sent out in either wireless or wired
interfaces.
