anI/Ointerfaceforuseininstrumentationapplications.This

includes1digitalinputand1digitaloutputwhichcanbe

connected,viaaspecialI/Oadaptercable,tosensorsand

switchestomonitorstatusandremotelycontrolequipment.

Digital Input

Bymeasuringcontactclosuresonswitches,thedigitalinput(s)

canreportasimpleopenorclosedstate.Digitalinput(s)canbe

wiredtothetwogroundsignalsviaaswitch.Whentheswitch

isopen,theinputwillread“OPEN”.Whentheswitchisclosed

andtheinputisconnectedto

ground,theinputwillread

“CLOSED”.
