Reset Password
Reset Password,whileyouareconnectedtothemodem,will
resetthepasswordtothedefault:12345.If,however,youare
notconnectedtoamodem,youcanuseResetPasswordto
obtaindailypasswordinordertoaccessamodemforwhich
youhaveforgottenthepassword.
WhenyouselectReset Passwordwhilenotconnectedtoa
modem,youwillbeshownachallengecode.
YouneedtocontactSierraWirelessSupport,eitherbyphoneor
email.SierraWirelessSupportwillrequestthatyouemail
themtheChallengeCodealongwithyournameandyour
company’sname.Enterthe
Daily Passwordyouaresuppliedby
Supporttoaccessthemodem.

Note: The Daily Password will
only work for the modem you
requested, the copy of
AceManager you used to obtain
the Challenge Code, and only for
the specific time (approximately
24 hours). Daily password
requests are logged by AirLink
Support.
Disconnect
DisconnectfromaPPPconnectiontothemodem.
YoucanalsouseDisconnectfromtheModemmenuoption.
Note: Disconnect will be “greyed out” and unavailable if you connect
to the modem remotely or with any method other than PPP.
