Safety and Hazards DonotoperatetheSierraWirelessAirLink yourmodemin
areaswhereblastingisinprogress,whereexplosive
atmospheresmaybepresent,nearmedicalequipment,near
lifesupportequipment,oranyequipmentwhichmaybe
susceptibletoanyformofradiointerference.Insuchareas,the
SierraWirelessAirLinkyourmodem
MUSTBEPOWERED
OFF.TheSierraWirelessAirLinkyourmodemcantransmit
signalsthatcouldinterferewiththisequipment.
DonotoperatetheSierraWirelessAirLinkyourmodeminany
aircraft,whethertheaircraftisonthegroundorinflight.In
aircraft,theSierraWirelessAirLinkyourmodemMUSTBE
POWEREDOFF.Whenoperating,theSierraWirelessAirLink
yourmodemcantransmitsignalsthatcouldinterferewith
various
onboardsystems.
Note: Some airlines may permit the use of cellular phones while the
aircraft is on the ground and the door is open. Sierra Wireless AirLink
your modem may be used at this time.
Thedriveroroperatorofanyvehicleshouldnotoperatethe
SierraWirelessAirLinkyourmodemwhileincontrolofa
vehicle.Doingsowilldetractfromthedriveroroperatorʹs
controlandoperationofthatvehicle.Insomestatesand
provinces,operatingsuchcommunicationsdeviceswhilein
controlof
avehicleisanoffence.
