If you are running Windows 2000 or Windows XP and having
problems establishing a connection, see page 102.
Note: Depending on a setting in
the Options window, a message
warning you of a possible
surcharge for 1xRTT service
may be displayed whenever you
establish a 1xRTT connection.
This warning message can be
disabled in the Options window.
See page 81.
Once the connection is established, you can use any Internet
application (such as Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or
your e-mail application).
To terminate an Express Network connection:
1. Click the Cancel button (during the connection process) or
the
Disconnect button (once the connection is established).
During Express Network connections, the In Use
indicator is a modem labeled “1X”.
