Before you begin
Install the AirCard
USB modem
Remove the AirCard
USB modem
Remove the SIM card
This chapter guides you through the steps necessary to install
the AirCard USB modem on a notebook or desktop computer.
Note: Do not insert the AirCard USB modem into your USB slot
before installing the software.
Before you begin
1. Obtain a GSM account (if this wasn’t done when you
purchased the AirCard USB modem).
2. Ensure that your PC meets the system and hardware
requirements described below.
System requirements
The AirCard modem is supported on:
Windows Vista
Windows XP (Home and Professional versions)
Windows 2000
Mac OS X 10.4 or newer
To install the AirCard USB modem, you require these system
resources:

USB slot 1 USB slot
Disk drive CD-ROM (for installation only)
I/O resources 1 IRQ, 40 bytes I/O space
Memory 32 MB
