A data logger can only read out the data also sent by the data telegram by the meter. The
service software can adapt the default telegram.
Error messages for incorrect mounting:
The meter continuously performs self-diagnostics to detect and display various error
messages.
Error 'Wrong direction of flow (negative)'
Check whether the direction of flow arrow on
the flow measuring section matches the
system direction of flow of the system.
Rotate the flow measuring section by 180° if
the directions do not match.
Error 'negative temperature difference'
Check whether the temperature sensor is
correctly installed. Change the mounting
location if the temperature sensor is not
correctly installed.
These messages can also display even if not incorrectly mounted if the plant is idle.
