Connect the MMI cable (540-143) from the laptop to the TLX box. 6. Set communications parameters, as follows: Connect using: Direct to Comm x (where x is the number of the Comm port where the laptop computer cable will connect) 2. Terminate power to the TLX (24 Vac 1.2 VA connector).
