Bluetooth™
Bluetooth™ is a short-range
radio system. It permits wireless
communication between different
terminal devices equipped with
Bluetooth™ such as phones, phone
accessories, printers and PCs.
Every Bluetooth™ device has a
unique address and name. This is
how it is guaranteed that the intend-
ed communication partners can con-
nect. The security concept is based
on a password that both devices ex-
change when they connect for the
first time. These "trustworthy" part-
ners can be included in a list. The
password prompt is no longer neces-
sary for future connections.
