GPRS connection
(General Packet Radio Service)
With packet data technology which
connects only to send/receive data in
packets.
To configure this access point:
• Connection name: your choice
• Data bearer: GPRS
• Access point name: from provider
• User name: from provider
• Prompt password: choose Yes if you
want to key it in every logon
• Password: from provider if required
• Authentication: from provider
• Gateway IP address: from provider

• Use callback: data phone number

Edit, New access point (Use default set-
tings, Use existing settings), Delete, Exit.

cess points using GPRS.
GPRS connection
• When available Always use GPRS for
text/data communication (if the network
supports it)
• When needed Use only GPRS if an appli-
cation/action needs it to work
Access point
If you want to use your phone as a
modem to your computer, an access
point name is needed.
Data call

The setup data are needed for all
access points using a (high speed)
data call.
Online time
The data call is switched off after a
time-out period.
• User defined: Key in a period in minutes
for time-out
• Unlimited: No time-out
