Statements for SM2 administrators SELECT-HOSTS

Note

The host name uniquely identiﬁes a host in a processor network. This name must be

speciﬁed in the SELECT-HOSTS statement and is output on the screens as the host

name.

Note that when an HIPLEX MSCF connection is set up, a processor name must be

speciﬁed.

The processor name can be different from the host name. The processor name only

identiﬁes a system locally for one other system, not globally for the whole network.

The host name is the same as the local processor name.
