Displayed error and cause Remedy
Link LED not lit
• The Ethernet cable is not plugged in. • Plug in the Ethernet cable.
• The TS Adapter IE is not accessible via
Ethernet.
• Set the IP parameters by direct connection.
All LEDs flashing continuously
• Hardware error. • If all the LEDs on the device continue to flash after repeatedly
plugging in the Ethernet cable and connecting the external power
supply, the device is defective and must be replaced.

8.2 Logon to the configuration interface fails
Error message
"The user name or password is unknown to the TS Adapter IE. Log on with a known user
name."
Possible cause
It may be that the user name and password you entered are not registered in the user
management system of the TS Adapter IE.
Remedy
1. Reset the TS Adapter IE to its default configuration using the P RES button.
2. Log on to the TS Adapter IE with the user name "Administrator" and the password
"admin".
