12.2 Creating and Editing Folders
12.2.1 Creating Folders
You can create several folders in a flat hierarchy in a phone book.
Proceed as follows:
1. Select the Insert > Folder menu command or click with the right-hand mouse
button and select the "New Folder" command.
2. Name the created folder and confirm with
RETURN.
12.2.2 Cutting Folders
You can cut out a folder and paste it at another location, for example, in another
phone book.
Proceed as follows:
1. Select the folder that you wish to cut out.
2. Select the Edit > Cut menu command or click on the appropriate button in the
toolbar, or click the right-hand mouse button and select the "Cut" command.
Result: The folder is then stored in the clipboard from where you can paste it at
any location.
12.2.3 Copying Folders
You can copy a folder and insert it at another location, for example, in another
phone book.
Proceed as follows:
1. Select the folder that you wish to copy.
2. Select the Edit > Copy menu command or click on the appropriate button in
the toolbar, or click the right-hand mouse button and select the "Copy"
command.
The folder is then stored in the clipboard from where you can paste it at any
location.
