Firmware update

The TS Adapter II firmware can be updated as required, for example, after new features
have been added.
To update the firmware, proceed as follows:
● You will find the latest firmware and the firmware update tool on the Internet at:
http://www.siemens.com/automation/simatic-cs
● Search for "TS Adapter II" under Product Support.
● Download the self-extracting exe file containing the available firmware and the firmware
update tool to your PC.
● Extract the files to a local drive. Follow the instructions of the firmware update tool to
update the firmware on your TS Adapter II.
● In addition, please read the Readme file in the "Firmware" catalog of the firmware update
tool. This file contains information regarding installation and use of the new firmware.
Note
The firmware current at time of shipping and the firmware update tool is included on your
"SIMATIC TeleService Edition" CD in the "TS Adapter II\Firmware" catalog.
