Connecting to the analog phone socket
1. Insert the supplied analog phone cable onto the TS Adapter II.
2. Plug the other end of the phone cable into your phone socket. Use the TAE plug adapter
if necessary.
Note
You can operate the TS Adapter II-Modem on internal and public analog
telecommunications networks (TNV-3 system).
The insulating voltage between the phone side and the remaining electronics is rated for
250 V AC.
WARNING
Connecting the TS Adapter II-ISDN to an analog phone socket is not permitted and can
lead to life-threatening situations and destruction of the adapter.
Connecting to the ISDN phone socket
1. Fold the supplied ferrite over the phone line close to the TS Adapter II-ISDN.
2. Insert the supplied ISDN phone cable onto the TS Adapter II.
3. Insert the other end of the ISDN phone cable into the ISDN socket on your NTBA or your
ISDN socket.
Connecting to the external modem
Use a modem cable to connect your modem to the RS232 plug connector.
