The warranty for the HMI device will be deemed void if these stipulations are not heeded. 3.2 Mounting positions and type of fixation Permitted mounting positions The HMI device is designed for mounting in stationary cabinets, for example for mobile drilling rigs and ships.

To ensure the necessary degree of protection on the front of the HMI device, you will have to observe the mounting clamp positions listed below.

This makes objects on the display visible even in direct sunlight and easy to monitor and operate. The comprehensive dimming range with 256 settings makes for fatigue-free reading in very bright and very dark ambient lighting. Dimming takes place based on a gradual curve and is perceived by the eye as linear. You change the brightness as follows: ● Single-stage by using a button. ● Multi-stage by using the slider control. You can limit the number of brightness settings. You can also enter a value for the brightness with which the HMI device is to start.

Proper handling and regular cleaning will extend the service life of the front operating panel.
Service and maintenance 7.2 Repair Procedure WARNING Triggering functions unintentionally You may trigger a function unintentionally when you touch the touch screen for cleaning purposes. Clean the operating front only when the HMI device is turned off or you have activated a clean screen. The clean screen avoids the risk of triggering functions unintentionally when you touch the screen or when a water jet contacts the screen. Proceed as follows: 1. Switch off the HMI device.

Damit die Schutzart an der Vorderseite des Bediengeräts erreicht wird, ist es erforderlich, dass die nachfolgend aufgeführten Positionen für die Spannklemmen eingehalten werden.
Hinweis Bauen Sie das Bediengerät nur nach den Vorgaben des vorliegenden Handbuchs ein. Ziehen Sie die Gewindestifte der Spannklemmen nur so weit an, bis das Bediengerät bündig an der Einbaufront des Schaltschranks anliegt. Alternativ können Sie die Spannklemmen mit einem Drehmoment max. 0,2 Nm anziehen. Gehen Sie wie folgt vor: 1. Kontrollieren Sie die Einbaudichtung und deren Sitz. 2. Setzen Sie das Bediengerät von vorn in den Einbauausschnitt ein und sichern Sie das Bediengerät gegen Herausfallen. 3.
Bedienung des kapazitiven Touch-Screen So bedienen Sie den kapazitiven Touch-Screen richtig: ● Berühren Sie den Touch-Screen ausschliesslich mit der Fingerspitze. Der Finger kann durch einen dünnen Handschuh, z. B. einen sterilen Handschuh, geschützt sein. ● Berühren Sie den Touch-Screen senkrecht zur Oberfläche. ● Führen Sie eine Bedienaktion innerhalb von 30 Sekunden aus. Die folgende Tabelle enthält eine Zusammenfassung der richtigen und falschen Bedienung des kapazitiven Touch-Screen.
