Preparation
Note
For the BIOS setting "Profile: Standard" the configuration data of the device is deleted when
the battery replacement takes more than 30 seconds.
For the BIOS setting "Profile: User" the configuration data of the device is retained; only the
date and time has to be reconfigured.
The content of the SRAM is lost if the battery replacement takes more than 30 seconds.
1. Note down the current settings of the BIOS Setup.
A list in which you can note down this information is found in the BIOS manual.
2. Isolate the device from mains and disconnect all connection cables.
NOTICE
You can also replace the battery while the device is running; do not touch anything with
the device in this case. We recommend switching off the device beforehand.
