Display interfaces
TFT displays with an LVDS interface can be connected to this interface. You can connect
18-bit displays with a resolution up to 1024 x 768 pixels on X400 only (single-channel
LVDS), and of 1280 x 1024 pixels on X400 and X401 (dual-channel LVDS). On the X401,
there is also +12 V as supply voltage for the backlight inverter (max. 4.2 A) for 19" / Dual
Channel LVDS displays. The permitted display clock rate is 20 MHz to 66 MHz. The display
is selected automatically based on the code of the display select inputs.
The display power supply voltages 3.3 V and 5 V are switched via the graphic controller
depending on the requirements of the connected display units. The maximum cable length is
50 cm at a transmission rate of 455 MHz. Special cable properties are required for the
differential cable pairs specified by the LVDS specification.
