2.2 AS-i Masters for the SIMATIC S7-300
CP 342-2 (Standard AS-i Master)
The CP 342-2 is available as the standard AS-i master module for controllers of
the S7-300 range and for the ET 200M distributed I/O system.
The CP 342-2 occupies 16 input and 16 output bytes in the analog area of the
controller via which the input data of the slaves can be read and the output data of
the slaves can be set.
When using an FC, in addition to the I/O data exchange, it is also possible to
execute master calls from within the control program. The FC is supplied on a
diskette along with the manual for the CP 342-2.
