Observing the Installation Guidelines

The installation guidelines and safety instructions specified in this documentation or the electronic

manual must be observed during startup and operation.

Connecting Peripherals

The requirements regarding noise immunity (EN50082-2:1995) are met when you connect a

peripheral suitable for an industrial environment. Peripheral devices are only be connected via

shielded cables.

One of the following markings on a device is indicative of the corresponding approval:
