Description
FunkServerPro allows for the release of messages to a multitude of various receivers.
The radio call service channels contained as part of the basic package allow you to
send short SMS text messages to the mobile phones on the most important phone
networks in Europe as well as to send message texts as a fax and output it to a
message log printer.
Optionally available radio call service channels allow voice output to any phone, direct
text messaging to almost all GSM networks worldwide, outputting text messages to
telephones on Siemens HiPath/Hicom phone systems, sending messages per email,
using pager systems as well as all kinds of communication vehicles. All radio call
services can be combined in any manner and operated in parallel.
A process connection is used to connect the FunkServerPro to SICLIMAT X. A
multitude of available process connections allows a connection to almost any system;
individual process connections can even be created as required by the customer.
The modular design allows for trouble-free integration at a later date of additional
functions also as supplemental radio call service channels or process connections.
The integrated web interface allows you to configure and operate the FunkServerPro
via a standard web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer as of version 5.5) from any PC
in the (corporate) network without the need for additional software on the PC.
All log books and archive entries for the FunkServerPro can also be queried from
anywhere on the network via the Internet/intranet.
Thanks to Internet technology, system operation is very easy and intuitive minimizing
individual work time and helping to avoid errors.
The service units (e.g. maintenance, mechanic) are defined in the FunkServerPro.
The end device (mobile phone, pager, cordless phone, etc.) for each person as well as
the number to be called can be entered in the integrated telephone book.
Shift management, also contained in the basic package, allows you to assign personnel
on a daily basis to set shifts.
The escalation system ensures that a message is successfully forwarded by sending it
in a targeted manner to other persons when the original recipient is unavailable.
Combined with the acknowledge function already included in some call service
channels as well as the optionally available acknowledge package, FunkServerPro
supports numerous escalation strategies.
