The relevant text items, process database and automated plant graphics are generated
at the same time as the automation station software, so that after the download, a
complete, fully functioning system is ready for operation and monitoring.

Easy operation of the AS configuration program, with:

(no specialised software knowledge required)
• Easy engineering: inputs and outputs can be linked with the mouse

do not need to be drawn by hand)

With the function block library supplied, and the facility to store sections of plant and
even entire systems as “Typicals” (typical function blocks) in a library, a system can be
created in a short period of time.
The dual-window technique makes it possible to interconnect blocks from different
areas and to copy blocks or groups of blocks from different areas of plant.
A test mode is available, to check that the AS software is operating correctly.
Third-party plant can be added using a simply structured data import list (DLI). It can
then be operated and monitored with SICLIMAT X.
