AS configuration program

The AS configuration package is used for the creation, testing, commissioning
and documentation of the automation software for the SIMATIC-based SICLIMAT
automation stations.
Use
It is often necessary to adapt existing building services to changing circumstances.
In conjunction with the download facility, the consistent, fully graphics-capable
AS configuration program in SICLIMAT X lays the foundations for flexible engineering.
The automation and management levels can be configured in a single engineering
sequence.
The AS configuration program from SICLIMAT X offers the following customer benefits:
• SICLIMAT X is both an engineering tool and a system for monitoring and operation,
all in one package
• Graphics-based software engineering rather than programming
• Focus on the technology not the programming
The AS configuration program incorporates a user interface for graphics-based creation
of the software for the automation station. This enables the building services to be
engineered without specialised knowledge of the AS software.
The software, created in graphics mode, is then downloaded from the X-OS to the
automation station (Download). The AS configuration program can be used for
modification, testing and documentation of the automation station software. As soon as
this software has been downloaded, the automation station is ready for operation.
