Software licenses for WinCC
As a minimum, the WinCC system software licenses, V5.0 plus at least SP1, will be
required, with the appropriate number of variables:
• Run-time license only (128, 356, 1024 or 64k variables), or
• Complete license, consisting of runtime license and configuration system (128, 256,
1024 or 64k variables)
• Additional software licenses (e.g. split screen manager) are optional
HVAC software for WinCC
Each WinCC system requires the following:
• Add-on software for WinCC, graphics libraries. In addition to the HVAC-specific
graphics libraries, the CD contains a description of the application for the generated
graphics (typical graphics, operator graphics and parameter graphics). This item
must be ordered once for each WinCC
• Add-on software for WinCC, OS license This item contains a license document and a
key disk for engineering. The license document indicates the number of automation
stations which may be operated and monitored via the graphics libraries at runtime,
and from which the automatic messaging system obtains its information. This item
must be ordered once for each SIMATIC S7 to be connected to WinCC.
