Features
Essentially, the X-terminal comprises the following components:
• Base unit (with processor, graphics unit, main memory and network adapter)
• Monitor
• Keyboard and mouse
The X-terminal is connected to the X OS operator station via a local network (LAN),
referred to as the “terminal bus”.
The connection is as follows:
• 10/100BaseT twisted pair (auto-sensing)
Connecting a printer
All X-terminals have a serial port for connection of a message printer.
