Engineering
The S5 Link is supplied with a preset IP address which may be changed once to use it
in a plant via the serial interface (COM1). Access via the serial interface takes place
using a null modem cable and a terminal or terminal emulation on the PC. An IP
address is set at the plant, if entered when ordering. No change required on site. S5
Link is then recognized in the Ethernet and the engineering parameter, existing on the
X-OS, can be loaded once from there to the S5 Link.
