Software
The operating system is SuSE Linux 8.2. Data archiving and data management are
handled by the Oracle Workgroup Server V9 (with 5 named-user licenses).
Both items are components of the SICLIMAT X basic package already installed.
Refer to the relevant data sheets for information about the functional scope of the listed
software components.
The compact system is supplied with a basic 1,000 data points.
However, this can be extended in units of 1,000 data points at a time, up to a maximum
of 9,000).
The SICLIMAT X graphics editor, GEDIT, is supplied as part of the compact system
package and is used to generate and process full plant operating graphics.
The auxiliary trend software is also included. This is used to display data points in
graph form.
PCC TCP/IP is also included, for connection to SIMATIC S7.
