Application
The OSC-TX 150 S4 compact system comprises not only the computer (X-OS) but also
the actual SICLIMAT X V4.0 software.
Even in this compact format, the SICLIMAT X system is suitable for the operation of
buildings for all purposes. The system software incorporates all the management and
automation level functions necessary to optimize the use of the building services plant.
The software covers the following function groups:
• Operation and monitoring
• Archiving
• Documentation (reports)
• Memo
• Administration
• Optimization
• Ports/interfaces
As an option, the compact system can be expanded seamlessly and easily. It
communicates with the connected SIMATIC S7 automation stations via the Industrial
Ethernet bus. The E/P link is required for connection of SIMATIC S7 via the PROFIBUS.
Features
In design terms, the main control unit is based on a modern server PC.
The mini-tower incorporates spare PCI slots for quick-installation I/O cards, and a
built-in graphics processor.
The Pentium 4 processor has a clock speed of 3.4 GHz and 2 GB of RAM.
The SCSI hard disk has hotplug capability and a capacity of 73 GB. With RAID level 5,
a maximum of 4 hard disks can be plugged in.
The first operator station, which also incorporates the system console, can be
connected via the built-in graphics processor (not included, but a TFT monitor is
recommended). Other operator stations are connected via the terminal bus.
There is an onboard network card with an RJ45 twisted-pair connection. Also supplied
are a 3m 10BaseT cable and a DVD R/W drive (including CD R/W).
