4.6 System Maintenance
4.6.1 Service Approach
Given the high valuables stored in archives and libraries, Siemens recommends to
offer the “Advantage Plus ” with dedicated service options for archives and
libraries.
A service concept which ensures the highest possible reliability and availability of
our customers’ systems. A concept which includes a variety of proactive and reac-
tive components designed to keep the system stable and secure. With SafeGuard,
our proactive remote service, Siemens identifies critical system deviations before
they become problems and supports the analysis of fault messages and fire
alarms. A guaranteed repair service within 36 hours (as well as regularly
scheduled room integrity tests and cylinder re-approval, if an extinguishing system
is installed) provide the customer with the certainty that everything has been done
for the security of lives and assets and business continuity.
Note:
The proposed service concept needs to be verified with the local Siemens organi-
zation.
4.6.2 Service Deliverables
The Advantage Plus with dedicated options for archives and libraries constitutes a
“mission critical” version of the “Advantage Plus” offering.
Service deliverables and service levels which have been added or amended in
comparison to the original Advantage Plus offering are marked in red.
