The right flow sensor for every type
of application
The new vortex flow sensors for liquid
media offer a large variety of analog out-
puts. They are available in glass-fiber re-
inforced plastic or rugged red brass. The
sensors contain no moving parts, which
makes them dirt-resistant and ensures an
excellent media resistance. This results in
a long product life and long-term stability.
Four nominal sizes are available: DN 10,
DN 15, DN 20 and DN 25. Therefore, flow
ranges from 1.8 to 150 l/min are covered.
Media include domestic hot water, heating
water and the commonly used water-glycol
mixtures.
High accuracy, excellent EMC characteris-
tics, a small pressure drop and versatility
in a broad temperature range round off
the benefits offered by the Symaro flow
sensors.
Maintenance-free flow switches
To monitor the flow of liquid media in
hydraulic systems – especially in refriger-
ation, heat pump and heating plants –
the new flow switches made of glass-fiber
reinforced plastic are the ideal choice.
They are supplied with a brass pipe sec-
tion and feature a Reed contact, which is
actuated by a magnetic field, absolutely
contact-free and without a reset spring.
The switching point therefore remains
stable. The switches operate in a pressure
range up to 10 bar without using bellows,
which means that the switching point is in-
dependent of pressure. As a result, it only
depends on the volumetric flow.
The new flow switches also offer nominal
sizes from DN 10 to DN 25. In this field,
Symaro now covers nominal sizes from
DN 10 to DN 200.
Velocity sensor of rugged design
The air velocity sensor has three measur-
ing ranges: 0...5, 0...10, and 0...15 m/s.
Thanks to its specifically developed thin-
film sensing element, the measuring result
is independent of the direction of flow
across a wide range. What’s more, it is
dirt-resistant.
