Document No. 129-704 Installation Instructions May 10, 2016 Required Tools  Small, flat-blade screwdriver  Small and large Phillips screwdriver  Wire stripper  Knife  4 mm Allen key (DE7 installation only)  3/16" Allen wrench  T20 Torx  13 mm socket  13 mm open end wrench 3. Use a T20 Torx to remove the right side cover and bottom cover from the SED2 Drive. Expected Installation Time 60 minutes Figure 5. SED2 Drive Right Side Cover.

Using a large Phillips screwdriver, remove the drive mounting screws (save for re-use) and remove the SED2 Drive and protective shield from the backplane. Figure 11. Drive Enclosure Bracket. 3. Install the pre-wired terminal block assembly onto the Drive Enclosure Bracket, with wires facing up. 4.

Remove the crimped ends from all power wiring and strip 3/8" from the end of each. 8. Terminate existing bypass wiring to the bottom edge of the terminal block assembly. 2. Remove cover from the BT300 HVAC Drive. Figure 16. BT300 HVAC Drive with Cover Removed. 3. Remove the Cable Protection Plate from the BT300 HVAC Drive. Figure 14. Bypass Wiring Termination.

Terminate the input and output power wires and ground at the BT300. Trim and strip wire as needed. (For Frame Size 6 BT300, shorten power wires by two inches [51 mm]), as required. 3. Connect the control wiring and use cable ties to secure to the Cable Protection Plate. See Table 1. Figure 21.

Attach the Enclosure Bracket to the Drive Enclosure Bracket using the two self-tapping screws. Figure 25. Enclosure Bracket, Attached. 5. Remove bypass labels on the inside of the bypass cabinet door, and replace with new labels provided in the Migration Kit. 6. Close bypass enclosure and secure door with two door latch screws. 7. Reconnect power.
