 No. 1 and No. 2 Phillips screwdriver
 Wire cutter
 Wire stripper

 T20 Torx
 4 mm hex key
 3/16” hex key

 5/16” socket wrench
 3/8” socket wrench

 Pliers or channel lock wrench

Prerequisites
WARNING:
Disconnect all power before beginning
installation.
 Read these Installation Instructions in their
entirety prior to beginning installation.
 Read the SED2 to BT300 Migration Guide
(125-1005) prior to beginning installation.
 All wiring must conform to national and local
codes and regulations (NEC, CE, and so on).
Removing the SED2 Drive
These SED2 to BT300 Bypass migration instructions
encompass all versions of BT300 VFD replacement
on units produced prior to September 2009. This
includes sections for SED2 Frame Sizes A and B,
Frame Size C, and Frame Sizes D and E Bypass
equipment. Select the VFD removal and wiring for
your appropriate migration package.
SED2 Frame Sizes A and B
WARNING:
Always wait five minutes after disconnecting
the SED2 from the power source before
performing any work.
1. Disconnect power.
2. Remove the SED2 gland cover (Frame Size A only).

3. Remove the SED2 Drive terminal cover.

4. Using a small flat-blade screwdriver, disconnect
the control wiring from the drive.
5. Remove the keypad and I/O board (Frame Size
A only).
