9.3.3 Room unit (RXB39.1/FC-13 only)
Certain room units allow the user to toggle the room operating mode and automatic fan
operation or manual selection of the fan steps (in Comfort mode only).
The reaction of the controller upon the user's inputs can be parameterized in the
applications of FC-13.
• Manual / automatic operation (P093, this function is also available with FC-10-11-12)
• Function of the Standby button "
" (P168 – if P093 = Auto):
– Automatic fan operation with reduced setpoints (default), e.g. PreComfort
– or fan OFF
• For continuous fans the fan steps (I, II, III) must be mapped to fan speeds (%)
(P170…P172, see section 9.4 / section 12).
The basic settings are:
– 0% of (S
maxH/C
- S
minH/C
) for Fan I
– 50% of (S
maxH/C
- S
minH/C
) for Fan II
– 100% of (S
maxH/C
- S
minH/C
) for Fan III
If other values are required, first enable the individual parameter (P169) and then
define the values (P170…P172, see section 12).
The following example illustrates the collaboration between the application and the
room unit:
