Siemens RXB (KNX) application library RXB Description of functions for FC-10, FC-11, FC-12, FC-13 CM110385en_08
Building Technologies Control sequences 2013-06-17
The use of the outside-air damper can only be implemented in conjunction with the
RXB21.1 controller. In this case, the AC 24 V 3-position damper actuator is connected
to the outputs Y3 and Y4.
8.5.3 Position values for damper actuators
The position of the outside air damper is mapped to the bus.
In S-mode, the following communication object is used for this purpose:
Outside air damper (Output communication object)
Flags
Type Send heartbeat Value
R
W
K
T
U
1 0 1 1 0 5.001
DPT_scaling
yes 0...100% 0 = 0%
255 = 100%
In LTE mode, the "position" of the outside air damper is transmitted as follows:
Outside air damper (Output )
Possible partner function blocks Known partner
devices
ActPosSetpFreshAir
362 ADA
Air Damper Actuator
---
Geographical zone
If the LTE bus information is not required, it can be disabled (see pages 91 and 161 for
notes on reducing the load on the bus).
8.5.4 Overriding the outside air damper
For test purposes, the outside air damper can be overridden via the following
communication objects:
Damper override (Input communication object)
Flags
Type Receive timeout Value
R
W
K
T
U
0 1 1 0 0 8.010
DPT_Percent_V16
no 0...100% 0 = 0%
+100 = +100%
+32767 = invalid
Before the outside air damper can be overridden, the test mode must be activated via
the communication object Application mode (see page 145).
