The RMZ792 bus operator unit does not allow for commissioning (configuring) the
devices in the KNX network. Commissioning must occur locally on the device in the
KNX network using the RMZ790 or RMZ791 operator units or centrally using the
OCI700.1 service tool.

1.3 KNX network
The following figure shows a simple KNX network with an RMZ792 bus operator unit in
area 1 (fixed connection) and line 1 (mobile use).

Area/line coupler
The bus operator unit can be used to operate bus devices, i.e. KNX network devices.
The bus devices can be integrated in one or several lines. For networks with several
lines, access is possible to devices of neighboring lines or areas regardless of the
connection location.
We recommend to place the operator unit within the line or the area of the bus device
to be operated to keep down bus load.
