5 Commissioning
Only qualified persons trained by Siemens or its delegates may prepare for use
and commission the devices.
5.1 Start commissioning
5.1.1 Initial commissioning
See installation instructions G3113, supplied with the bus operator unit, for initial
commissioning.
For initial commissioning, the bus operator unit starts with menu Language. This allows
you to select the country-specific language. Then Commissioning menu is now
displayed. The access level is set to "Password level".
After selecting the country-specific operating language and confirming the selection
by pressing the OK button, the Commissioning menu opens; see Section 6.
5.2 Set user level
Set the user level (access level for plant operator) when done with commissioning:
1. Select the start page:
Press the ESC button repeatedly until the start page is displayed.
2. Press both the OK and ESC button simultaneously. The Access levels menu is
displayed.
3. Press the press-and-turn button "OK":
4. Turn the OK button to select the User level and confirm by pressing the button.
5. Enter the password for the corresponding user level.
6. Press the OK button to confirm the password.
