Unpowered thermostat from individual
package
DIP switches setting has higher priority meaning that:
● If all DIP switches are set to OFF (default), the PCT Go App can change the
application (e.g 2-pipe)
● If an application is set via DIP switches, the PCT Go APP cannot change it.
Change setting while the device is powered and running:
● Application settings requires a reboot of the device.
● Setting such as setpoint and HMI tuning takes effect few seconds later.
Change setting while the device is unpowered:
● Current settings of the thermostat can be read and write any time while
unpowered
● The thermostat needs to be powered on in order to store the new settings and
ensure that they are correct.
● Each time the application is changed, the thermostat reloads the factory setting
for all control parameters, except KNX device and zone addresses.
● The thermostat setting access can be protected by password (P502) The PCT
Go APP requires the password to read and write protected settings.
If the password is mistyped 5 times, the thermostat is locked, and a password
cannot be entered for 5 minutes.
● The commissioning via Siemens smartphone application PCT Go for Android
can be disabled via parameters to avoid any unexpected changes of
thermostat (P500).
