Windows XP or Windows 2000
Tera Term is recommended. If you choose to use HyperTerminal, which is provided
with Windows XP and earlier versions, access the program using the following menu
options: Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Communications > HyperTerminal
Windows Vista or Windows 7
Go to the directory where Tera Term was saved and double click on teraterm-4.XX.exe
to begin installation.
Upon starting the installation, you will be shown the following dialog box. Follow the
prompts on each screen to complete installation of Tera Term.
1. When the following screen is displayed, click Next for Standard installation.
2. If the following error is displayed, click OK. This will not impact installation.
