A: Patented, proprietary circuitry, combined with smart data transmission intervals minimize current consumption
and enables the unprecedented battery life
Q: Why aren’t the data transmission intervals user adjustable?
A: The Series 4292 sensor transmission intervals are selected based on best practices within the HVAC
industry. More frequent transmission intervals will decrease battery life while delivering no measurable
system performance benefits.
Q: Are the batteries replaceable?
A: Batteries are not replaceable, with the exception of the QPA4292.EWSC CO
2
sensor which uses standard AA
lithium batteries
Q: Why is the CO
2
sensor larger than the other sensors
A: The CO
2
sensing element itself is rather large and the housing must also accommodate 3 AA batteries
Q: What systems is the Series 4292 Wireless Sensor System compatible with?
A: The Series 4292 system is compatible with any network that can receive data via BACnet or Modbus,
including Desigo and Apogee systems.
