Brochure

Siemens QBE Series Liquid Differential Pressure Sensors are
available in a variety of differential pressure ranges. They are
compatible with most devices or systems capable of
powering and processing a 4 to 20 mA output signal. Typical
applications include HVAC systems where continuous
monitoring of differential pressure across a control valve or
other device is required.
Key Features:
– 4-20mA loop powered output
– Wide 7.5V t
o 33 Vdc in
put voltage tolerance
– No span or offset adjustment required
– Very low temperature sensitivity
– Compatible with 0-100% water/glycol mix (40˚ to 185˚F)
– Rugged weather- and moisture-resistant enclosure
– Optional 3-Valve Manifold
Sophisticated technology
The sensor’s ceramic measure element has been time-tested
in thousands of inst
allations w
orldwide in a variety of
applications, such as energy management systems,
process control systems, flow measurement of various
liquids, or pressure drop across filters.
– Premium technology at a competitive price
– Unique ceramic technology adeptly handles a variety
of applications
– Proven performance in the toughest industrial
environments around the world
Precise, consistent control
Gain consistency across a wide range of temperatures and
dif
f
erential pressure ranges.
– Select from a variety of differential pressure ranges:
0 to 25, 0 to 50, or 0 to 100 psi differential
– Wide input voltage tolerance (7.5 – 33 VDC)
– Compatible with 0-100% water/glycol mix (40˚ to 185˚F)
– 4-20mA loop powered output is compatible with most
control systems
Optional 3-valve manifold
The manifold allows process fluid to bypass the sensor ports.
This allo

or removal and inspection of the sensor without
draining the system. Manifold-sensor assembly is completely
assembled and factory tested for quick and leak-free
installation.
Fast, simple installation
All models include a mounting bracket for quick and simple
inst
allation with no span or of
fset adjustment required.
Speedy installations and simplified maintenance help
contribute to a lower cost of ownership.
– Process connections are ¼” FNPT and conduit connection is
½” NPT with cable gland and retaining nut for installations
that do not use conduit.
– Sensors mount in any position without impacting accuracy
(Units with manifold should be mounted such that
manifold valves are accessible).
Productivity booster
Built for long-lasting performance, these sensors never need
r
e-calibration. Their ability t
o enable continuous remote
monitoring helps technicians quickly diagnose and modify
systems to prevent or avoid downtime.
