Bus communication
Device address KNX TP1
You need to enter an unambiguous device address for the central apartment
unit. After entry, the central apartment unit checks whether the address en-
tered has already been assigned. If the address is still free, the display returns
to the “Basic settings“ menu. The value has been adopted. Otherwise, you are
prompted to enter a new address.
Main menu > Commissioning > Bus communication
> Basic settings > Device address:
Factory setting 255
Your setting
When using device address 255 (factory setting), no data is transmit-
ted via bus. Use some other device address.
Bus power supply
State whether the Konnex bus is powered by an external power pack (bus
power supply “Off“) or whether the bus receives its power from the central
apartment unit (bus power supply ”On”).
Main menu > Commissioning > Bus communication
> Basic settings > Bus power supply:

Caution: Bus power supply by the central apartment unit may only be
switched on if only one OZW771 central communication unit is con-
nected to the Konnex terminal of the central apartment unit
If several or other devices are connected to the bus, bus power
supply by the central apartment unit must be switched off
Programming mode
If you want to assign the device address in KNX system mode (with ETS),
activate the addressing mode (On) via the following operating line.

> Basic settings > Programming mode:
